What is a Social Shout Out?
A Social Shout Out is when you have either a customer, a friend or an influencer put up a post on their Social Media (that you’ve crafted for them) on your behalf.
Why would they do that? Because Modere has a referral system that incentivizes customers to refer other customers!

When they do a Social Shout Out, you’re the person who’s ATMing the prospects, not the person who’s putting up the post. That means you get to Add leads to the Group, Tag them in the video/post that gives them more information, and you Message them.
Who to ask for a Social Shout Out and how to approach them:

Current customers
These are the best people to do these Social Shout Outs. They’re already using the products, so they know how good they are!
That’s why you need to be great at following up and knowing what results they’re getting. Set up a reminder in your phone to follow up with people a week or two after they’ve started using the product. Then drop them a message and say,
"Hey, [name]! I know you’re loving the [name of product]. Would love to know exactly what you’re experiencing!"
When they tell you about even the smallest results, reply back with,
"I’m so excited that [repeat what they’ve told you]. This is amazing! Would you be open to hearing how you can start getting your product discounted or possibly even for free? And don’t worry — I’ll do all the work for you!"

Friends and family
This is a great option, especially if you’re just getting started. Say,
Hey, [name]! I’m so excited. I started this new business so I can
________ (share your why).
Could you help me out and just publish a post on your Facebook timeline? That’s all you have to do. I’ll give you the post, I’ll do all the work. You just have to post it and you’ll get credit towards free products when anyone orders.

Influencers
Who do you know that has a sizable audience and you have a relationship with? Ask them to do a Social Shout Out. You can say something like this:
Hey, [name]! I’m so excited. I started this new business so I can ________ (share your why).
I know you’re very selective with what you promote to your audience but I think they’ll love our hero products!
So I was wondering if you’d be open to helping me out in exchange for free product credits? We offer anything from award-winning weight loss, targeted nutrition, liquid collagen to non-toxic cleaning and self-care items. Let me know if you’re open to it. If not — no big deal.

Ask them,
How would you like to get your products at a discounted price or even possibly for free?"
If they say "yes", go from there.

They already know what they want, so get straight to the point:
Hey, [name]! I am SO excited you want to learn more about how to enter to win!
Here’s how you enter: You can do a fun and simple post on your wall (I will give you the post) … nothing salesy or spammy. When anyone orders through your customer referral link, you’ll get a $10 product credit for each person who gets started! Plus you will enter to win! Are you in!?
PRO Tip
If a Social Shout Out gets a lot of replies, you should encourage them to take a look at the business. Send them a message saying, "Hey, name! Did you see this? WOW, you’ve gotten a great response! And you know, these could be your clients so YOU can start earning income and credits. Let me know if you’re open to learning more about the business side of things."
They already know what they want, so get straight to the point:
I’m so excited about [nickname for the product / Liquid gold / etc.]

Goal: to get as many Social Shout Outs up as you can in 1 week!
STEP 1:
Make a post showing multiple products (ex. Trim, Biocell, Moisturizer) and have people vote for which they would like to win – the PURPOSE is to get engagement. These will be people you reach out to with raffle details.
STEP 2:
Make another POST 2-3x within the week on your Facebook wall and in your stories. Say something like, "We are giving away a bottle of our chocolate #WaistTrimmer! If you want to know HOW to WIN, drop a 💕 below!"
STEP 3:
Reach out to those who commented with details about how they can enter (by simply making a social shout out for you and tagging you).
Ex: "Hey [name], thank you for commenting on my post! We are super excited! To get entered in the giveaway, you just have to make a post for me on your wall. I’ll give you what to post and do the rest. If you’d rather not, I can tag you in the LIVE so you can see what else we are doing that night! You want me to send you a post to use?"
STEP 4:
Give them a Social Shout Out to use to post and make sure they TAG YOU (use the examples from the Boards App).
STEP 5:
Make a list of the Posts that you’re tagged in. You can even take it a step further, and create a Facebook Collection to save everything or use a tool like Trello.
